How much does a wedding celebrant in Sydney typically cost?
1
Pricing depends on the level of customisation you're after. I offer a 'No Fuss' legal ceremony for $700 + GST for those wanting something simple, while a fully personalised ceremony starts from $930 + GST. If you’re looking for a package that covers both the ceremony and MC duties for the reception, those start from $1,780 + GST.
What is the difference between a "No Fuss" and a "Personalised" ceremony?
2
The 'No Fuss' option is perfect for couples who just want to get the legalities sorted—think of it as a stylish alternative to a registry office. A 'Personalised' ceremony is where we tell your actual love story. It’s custom-written, includes a rehearsal if needed, and gives you access to my library of vows and readings to make it truly yours.
Can you help us with the legal paperwork for our marriage?
3
Definitely. One of the main jobs of a marriage celebrant is taking the stress out of the paperwork. I handle the preparation and lodgement of all legal documents with Births, Deaths and Marriages, so you can focus on the fun parts of your wedding.
Do you travel for weddings outside of the Sydney CBD?

We want live music; do you offer any entertainment packages?
What happens if our ceremony is outdoors? Can everyone hear us?
How many weddings have you actually officiated?
What does a Wedding MC actually do?
Can you help with wedding styling or photography too?
How far in advance should we book a Sydney marriage celebrant?
I sure do! My standard packages cover any venue within 30km of the Sydney CBD. If you’re getting married further out—like the Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley, or Southern Highlands—just let me know and I can give you a specific travel quote.
I’ve been a professional singer for years, and I perform with my guitarist, Dan. We offer a live music duo package that covers everything from your walk down the aisle to the cocktail hour. Plus, if you book me as your celebrant, you get a discount on the live music.
Sydney has some stunning outdoor spots, but wind and traffic can be an issue. I provide a high-quality Mipro PA system and professional microphones for all personalised ceremonies. This ensures your guests—up to 200 of them—won't miss a single word of your vows.
I’ve been a full-time celebrant for over 15 years and have officiated more than 2,000 weddings. You might have even spotted me as the celebrant on Married At First Sight. I’ve seen it all and can handle just about any situation that pops up on a wedding day.
Think of the MC as the "vibe manager" for your reception. While you’re busy celebrating, I’m coordinate with the kitchen, the DJ, and the venue staff. I handle the introductions and keep the speeches on track so the night flows smoothly until the dance floor opens.
While I focus on the ceremony and music, I partner closely with Lovesick Weddings. We offer a combined "one-stop-shop" that covers furniture, florals, and photography. It’s a great way to get a cohesive look for your day while saving a bit of money.
The popular dates (especially Saturdays in Spring and Autumn) often book out 12 to 18 months in advance. It’s always best to reach out as soon as you’ve locked in your venue to make sure I’m free for your date.
